Sales Manager (m/f) Hand Tools Central Europe - 2171

Position:Sales Manager (m/f) Hand Tools Central Europe
Location:Southern Germany or Home Office
Our client:Our client is a medium-sized firm and belongs to an international company. It develops, produces and distributes electrical and mechanical products and tools.
Products:Our client develops and manufactures a wide variety of DC electric, pneumatic and mechanical hand tools, assembly equipment and related software, for the international automotive industry, aerospace, electronic manufacturing, rework and repair and other important branches.
Job scope summary:The Sales Manager is responsible for the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland. He/she will be the client’s representative in Central Europe. In close co-operation with agents, distributors and wholesalers he/she will be selling and responsible for the Hand Tool portfolio developing the markets, identifying educational needs and be driving profitability and sales increasing activities
Responsibilities:
  • Selling of Hand Tool products to existing and new customers in designated areas to maximize their potential
  • Developing of long-term relationships with customers through managing their requirements in terms of right product to market, quality, price and delivery
  • Developing and implementing of strategies and yearly market sales plans in line with overall company strategy to gain market shares by finding new customers, markets etc.
  • Analyzing of market trends to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
  • Preparation of regular sales and benchmarking reports for senior sales management
  • Analyzing of costs and sales to drive profitable growth
  • Negotiating of tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs
  • Calculating of customer quotations and administration of customer accounts
  • Providing of pre-sales technical assistance, product education and after-sales support
  • Supporting of marketing activities by attending and participating in the preparations of trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Designing and delivering of product presentations
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Providing responses for product and technical requests
  • Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team
Skills/Qualification:
  • Expert knowledge and good understanding of distribution, supply chain, manufacturing business issues.
  • Expert knowledge with standardized products, i.e. not customized products, not private label.
  • Proven success in business solution selling.
  • Proven success selling in complicated sales surroundings with both technical and business buyers.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Communicative and being a team player
  • Self-driven, independent and pedagogical personality, focused and business oriented
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Open-minded and flexible
Education/Experience:
  • Degree in Business Administration/marketing, preferable
  • Three to five years practical sales experience (focus in business to business)
Reports to:Commercial Director Hand Tools EMEA
Income:A good salary + bonus + company car will be provided
Starting date:ASAP
