| Products: | Our client develops, manufactures and distributes innovative drive technology for plant engineering and construction. The focus is set on intelligent servo controllers. |
| Job scope summary: | The job entails working mostly with the Field Sales team to develop new key and OEM accounts and to provide required management support to close business successfully.
The incumbent has overall responsibility of the external sales organisation and the development of future key account and OEM business. In this respect the Director Sales & Business Development is also required to provide input for the product portfolio management in motion control and the initiation of new product development

| Responsibilities: | - Continuation and further extension of the dynamic sales growth
- Management and extension of the sales activities with focus on the EMEA market
- Driving a target-oriented acquisition of new key accounts
- Developing sales effectiveness of the outside sales force by using value selling techniques
- Growth business in defined product and customer segments
- Input to portfolio management and initiation of new product development programs
- Development and implementation of business plans
- Performing customer needs assessments and solution finding sessions

| Skills/Qualification: | - Expert knowledge and good understanding of sales management of direct sales organizations in the automation area
- Expertise in sales of customized servo solutions and extensive network in the business area
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in German and English language
- Self-dependent and goal oriented working style combined with excellent organizational skills
- Motivated and reliable personality with excellent communicative skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office and SAP is helpful
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience within an American environment is preferable

| Education/Experience: | - Engineering degree with focus in automation/electrical drives is required
- Strong engineering background
- Experience with customized and standard servo products is a must
|
| Reports to: | General Manager |
| Income: | A very good salary + company car will be provided |
