With locations in Germany, Belgium, France, Bulgaria, Switzerland, the Ukraine and the USA it develops and produces switching circuits with a strong focus on automotive. Our client is an innovator in mixed signal CMOS sensors and specialized in combining sensors with microcontrollers. |
| Products: | Our client designs and manufactures a variety of integrated circuits (ICs), including semiconductors, sensor ICs, micro machined sensors and programmable sensor IC systems for the automotive industry. Furthermore it has a broad technological know how of a wide range of automotive applications like hall, imagers and opto sensors, RF, IR, MEMS and automotive BiCMOS. |
| Job scope summary: | Identify, follow-up and close opportunities at assigned and new accounts in the dedicated area. The list of assigned accounts includes a top leading Tier-1 supplier. Manage the existing business and ensure fulfilment of the sales plan. |
| Responsibilities: | - Following the sales plan, ensure, through a continuous presence in his/her field of action, the finding of opportunities (directly or indirectly through the sales force of external distributors and/or sales representatives)
- Follow technically and commercially the open opportunities, to get the majority of them progressing effectively through the sales process. Identify at each step what/who is actually needed to move forward and further secure the chance of success
- Identify design- and decision-making contacts for new target applications and follow-up in close interaction with the Product Line Managers.
- Close the opportunities in getting from the customer the first production order and the last program forecast in order to initiate the flow of revenues and achieve the design win value that has been set for the year
- Track the closed opportunities in order to feed budget/forecast exercises and identify technical/commercial/quality issues at an early stage

| Skills/Qualification: | - Sound understanding of the development and validation processes in the automotive industry.
- Sound understanding of the business model of the automotive industry (OEM, Tiers, model year approach)
- Be familiar with diverse organizational concepts
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Know how to maintain an effective working relationship
- Ability to make a convincing commercial and technical presentation at customers
- High level of customer orientation
- Share highly company corporate vision, mission and policy
- Work with high energy, self responsibility and determined
- Cost consciousness
- Must be able to travel extensively within the responsible territory
- Fluent in English and German (both spoken and written)

| Experience/Education: | - Engineering degree is a must
- 10 years of business experience of which 5 years related technical sales/ application or field application experience (semiconductor and/or automotive)
|
| Reports to: | Regional Sales Manager or Area Sales Manager according to the scope of the area |
| Income: | Depending on qualification a good salary plus bonus and company car will be provided |
| Starting date: | ASAP |
