Our client:
Our client is an international provider of measurement, instrumentation, piping solutions and over pressure protection devices to the natural gas and utility markets, including the water, gas and electric sectors.
Job scope:
  • Plans, organizes and leads all sales activities into Europe, Asia and the Middle East
  • Global responsibility for products manufactured in Europe
  • Define and execute the short and long term sales strategy for EU products in global markets
  • Manage and drive growth of direct sales and channel sales in the region
  • Manage international sales team
  • Identify opportunities proactive and implement growth strategies
  • Support and participate in the annual and 5-year strategy Goal Deployment Process
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans with the sales team
  • Manage annual sales team orders and cost budget achievement
  • Lead and execute annual Territory Management Plans in sales and other sales team development tools and trainings as deemed necessary
  • Develop annual, quarterly and monthly orders forecasts
  • Manage customer contracts with legal support resources
  • Work closely with product management and commercial operations teams
  • Develop and maintain sales incentive plans
  • Work closely with customer service and operations to optimize customer service
  • Participate in Sales & Operational processes
  • Contribute to strategic planning activities as required by the business
  • Contribute to determining new product features, product compliance requirements, new regions and markets
  • Be a key part of the EU Leadership team, working closely with the EU Managing Director, EU Product Manager, EU Business Development Manager and EU Finance Director
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 15+ years commercial leadership experience preferable into Natural Gas Utilities
  • Direct sales and channel management experience
  • Experience and ability to close deals successfully
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong team management skills
  • Individual coaching and personnel development experience
  • Strategic and analytical thinker and organizer
  • Ability to prioritize input from multiple constituencies
  • Winning and convincing personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English German, and preferably French
  • Willingness to travel 50% and work in a global team of professionals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
BSc or equivalent degree or experience
Report to:
Chief Commercial Officer & EU Managing Director
Depending on experience and qualification you are offered an attractive income with bonus and company car
